Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, she worked in the Department of Internal Medicine and Neurology at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Abu Dhabi, UAE. Dr. Al-Bustani received her medical degree from Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. She completed her residency in Neurology at McGi l l University, Montreal, Canada. Subsequently, she completed her fel lowship in Cl inical Neurophysiology, EMG Track, Neuromuscular Medicine and Advanced Neuromuscular Medicine at the University of Wash- ington, Seattle, W.A., USA. Dr. Mustafa Shakra is a Consultant Neurologist at Sheikh KhalifaMedical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He has particular interest in inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the central nervous system. He runs the clinic of Multiple Sclerosis & Parkinson’s Disease at SKMC. Dr. Shakra has graduated medical school from Damascus University in 1992 and received his main training in general internal medicine and neurology subspecialty in major university hospitals. He carriesMD, MSc, MRCP and FRCP inmedicine and neurology and additionally he has authored and co-authored many articles in in the field of neurology. Dr. Mona Thakre is a well experienced Neurologist with more than 20 years of experience to her credit in UAE and India. She had her basicMBBS andMD inMedicine fromNagpur University, India and DM and DNB in Neurology from Bombay Hospital, Mumbai University, India. She has completed her Speciality Certificate in Neurology from Royal College of Physicians (UK) and is a Fellow of American Academy of Neurology (FAAN). She has worked in Government Hospital Rashid Hospital as Senior Specialist for 10years and since last 7 years as Consultant and Head of Neuroscience Department at Al Zahra Hospital which is a tertiary care hospital in Dubai. She is the elected Board Member of Emirates Neurology Society. Her areas of interest: Multiple Sclerosis, Headache Stroke, Epilepsy and Movement Disorders. She is an active researcher and has numerous presentations in local and international conferences. She has published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Muhammad Saidamcompleted his Bachelor’s Degree inMedicine at Al BasraUniversity, Iraq. He then went on to do a two-year internship with the King HusseinMedical Center and theMinistry of Health. He subsequently received the certificate of complete training in neurology and the certificate of higher speciality in medicine with a specialization in neurology. Following this, he became a Professor and Research Assistant in the Neuroscience Department at King Abdullah University Hospital, College of Medicine of Jordan University of Science and Technology. He is a Board-certified Adult Neurologist by the Jordanian Medical Council and a Board-certified Adult Neurologist and Clinical Neurophysiologist. From2011-2014 heworked in Saudi Arabia and from 2014-2020 he was a Senior Adult Neurologist and Clinical Neurophysiologist in a private hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE, prior to joining Mediclinic.
