Professor Ajith trained at St. Thomas\u2019s Hospital Medical School in London, UK. He has trained and worked in the Institute of Neurology and National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, Charing Cross and Westminster Hospitals in London, Newcastle, Manchester, and Edinburgh. He was a Consultant and Senior Lecturer in Newcastle.<\/p>

Ajith moved to the UAE in 2009, and was Chief of Neurology at Mafraq Hospital from 2009-2019. He was Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and Chair of Medicine, from 2010 till 2019. In 2019 Professor Ajith moved the Neurology and Neurophysiology Departments to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC). At SSMC he was Chief of Neurology and Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee (PTC), and Chair of SEHA PTC 2013-2021. In August 2021 he moved to Burjeel Medical City, where he is the Head of Department.<\/p>

Ajith has published numerous articles and chapters in international peer-reviewed journals and books, and presented in numerous national and international conferences.<\/p>

In 2017 the\u00a0Royal College of Physicians and Birkbeck College (University of London) awarded him a\u00a0Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Leadership (Merit grade). He is currently studying for a full time MBA with the University of Durham, and awarded the prestigious Durham University Business School Achievement Scholarship.<\/p>

Dr. Ali Hassan is Consultant and acting chief of neurology division, Tawam Hospital. After graduation from Assiut University in South Egypt, he had his further training in the residency program in the university hospitals which has more than 2000 beds and a highly advanced neurology department. He completed his master degree in neuroscience in 2003 and Medical Doctorate in neurology from Al-Azhar University in 2010. Dr. Ali has a long experience in neurology service in different Middle East teaching and tertiary hospitals.
